The 1865 Building is a place where history and contemporary design blend seamlessly to offer a stay that’s as authentic as it is indulgent. The building was once used as a tobacco auction house and the recent remodel was carefully crafted to preserve the building’s architectural charicteristics. You’ll be in awe of the rounded exposed brick and original wood beams. When walking through the stylish lobby and halls, you will be captivated by photographs showcasing the building’s rich history. There was something so special about staying somewhere with SO much character!
Prime Location: Near Broadway, Music Row & The Gulch
With easy access to Music Row, Vanderbilt University, Centennial Park and downtown Nashville’s famed Broadway area, you’ll be perfectly positioned to explore the best of the city. There is a bus station 200 feet from the property and constant access to Uber and Lyft. Even staying on a long weekend like we did, we never had any issues catching a rideshare. Surprisingly enough, the rides were also quick and relatively inexpensive all over town. This was the perfect hub to explore the entire city from The Gulch to Music Row.

This quaint bar offers the ideal setting to toast your Nashville visit. Whether you’re winding down after a day of sightseeing or gearing up for a night out on the town, it is a spot you don’t want to miss.
